It's hard for me to accept this situation because she and I've shared the time for six months. I can remember that first time we met each other at the school. She asked me "Shall we have a lunch together ?" It's my most unforgettable scean in my schoollife. As soon as we met, we hit it off and we've used eye contact even though we don't have enough skill to speak English. I know that she understands myfeeling deeply and she will always stand by me. I must feel helpless if she wasn't here when I had many troubles. Thanks to her I could overcome these troubles. I hope I will make her happy, too. So I worry about daily life without her from now on. Of course, I've got many close friends in Adelaide but she is a special person for me. I knew that we can keep in touch forever if we want to do that. So I believe that we can do that!!

A warning !

Last night I fried a steak with sautéed mushrooms for dinner. Nowadays, I try to eat lean meat because my teacher suggested me the meat is good for us to keep our stamina. One of my housemate brought her friend and we enjoyed chatting while I prepared the table. Although I had used an extractor fan, I had opened the window to remove of room. Suddenly, some smoke set off a fire alarm in our kitchen. I pressed a button to make it known that this happening was a malfunction as soon as possible. Next I opened an entrance and one housemate fan the smoke from a fire alarm. The other housemate cooled down the pan. Maybe it could run down in just 1 minute. Everyone helped me and nobody scolded me. They just told me it was a good experience for you. One housemate taught me before how to make do just in case. I could do as her lesson. But my trembling hadn’t gone for a certain time because I felt fear so much. We like seafood so bought raw oysters, prawns and Japanese eel in the central market and Little Tokyo. Ah, that’s good!! What a delicious dinner it was! Have you eaten Japanese eel? My home town is famous for ell dishes and I have favorite restaurant. An eel is called “Unagi” in Japan and “Una Don” is that broiled eel served over rice in a bowl. One week ago I moved to a new place and a lot of friends helped me. I wanted to cook and entertain them. Fortunately, my teacher introduced me fantastic fish shop. The shop is in the east of town and I rode the bus to buy fresh raw fish. What a fresh fish! It’s difficult to find the fish of good quality in Adelaide. Moreover, shop assistants were all kindness and I could get some salmon and some tuna. After I came back home, I prepared sushi rice, miso soup and so on. We took up food in our culture as a theme. Our classmates come from different countries so I listened with great interest and I noticed the difference them. Especially, I was much surprised at Saudi Arabian diet. The country put great value on lunch. It’s perfect in food habit and I think that they’ve kept fantastic tradition for a long time.
On the other hand, the modern Japanese diet is full of variety. Stretching from north to south, Japan has different food culture from region to region. I like to travel around Japan because we can eat special dishes that are rich in local color.
